James Handrich

HiRes_4727336206044For the last forty-two years, Jim Handrich served as an educator, teacher and principal in Lutheran and international schools in Manhattan, the Bronx and Hong Kong. He received his BA from Concordia University, Chicago, an MS in Education from City University of New York (Lehman College) and a MA in Administration from Teacher’s College, Columbia University.

In the past he has served on the national board for Parish Education of the LCMS, the Urban School Task Force of the Atlantic District LCMS, the Board of Lutheran Social Services of New York, and as an Advisory Board Member to the Chair of the Collier County Public Schools Board in Naples, FL. He currently serves on the Board of Wheat Ridge Ministries and chairs the Governance Committee. He has been a member of the Board of the Center for Urban Education Ministries since 2008. Jim is now retired and lives in Naples, FL.
